I thank God everyday for my two beautiful and healthy children!!! I know they didn't have to be here but He allowed them to be! God is so great!! Being a mom is a great feeling and I'm so happy! Lol being a wife is great too! But this blog isn't about that! Lol

Had a baby its a boy!!

Ahhhh crazy week! Monday morning oct 17th I went into labor!!! Bad bad labor! I promise IF I have another baby in getting a c section!!!! But anywho after 15 hrs of labor I had my baby boy! He's so great but unfortunately he got bruised and he has jaundice so I had to leave him in the hospital. But he's getting better! Oh yeah I forgot I mention that a 9 lb 8 oz baby came out of me! And I didn't tear! Lol but enough bout that.... Here are some pics

Sooo my BFF Tina had her baby shower this past Friday it was great! But let me tell u about her crazy hostess lol she is a mess! She was hating on me and my creations for some reason! Idk but whatever! I'm just glad Tina enjoyed it and it turned out nice because instead of one person trying to do everything!!!! We all worked together and made it come to life

Soo since I've been 8 months or maybe 7 my cousin melvia and I have been working on starting a diaper cake business amongst other things. Lol I've been busy doing that! Thank God my mom has been watching my busy bee Alyssa! Lol well check them out!

Alyssa pooped in the potty... Yes we are trying to potty train her now. Lol saving money on diapers. But anywho... She was pooping on the potty and next thing I know she sticks her hand in the toilet and squeezes the poop! Ahhhhh! Lol I had to clean her up good!

Walking baby

My baby is officially walking and getting into everything...and I'm 34 weeks and feeling heavy ugh! God is blessing me though. I'm truly happy!

All about Alyssa!

Alyssa is trying to walk!!!! She takes 5 steps and then falls...but each day more progress happens....lol maybe if she wasn't so excited she could walk more...her excitement stops her from keeping good balance. Anyway!!! I will try to put a video of her walking up here...idk if it will fit. WE SHALL SEE!

Well with all this walking talk Alyssa got some new shoes....I didn't buy them. Dwight's friend did. but check them out. I think they are really cute!

They are cute little baby jordans!!! LOL I would never buy them myself this early. BUT they are the cutest!!!

Sydney Christening

On August 14, 2011....ALyssa turns 9 months!!! Yay! My baby is growing up! lol and that means we are getting closer to little man getting here.

But anywho...On that day our cousin (who is two weeks younger than ALyssa) Sydney got christened. It was really nice to spend some time with my other family (the Ledwells). I have a few pictures of Alyssa in the nursery. Oh yeah...so we went to this church in Pontiac and the pastor didn't like Alyssa and Sydney's screaming so he pretty much kicked them out and wanted them to go to the nursery. I've never left my baby anywhere without someone I knew being there...so yea Dwight & I stayed in the nursery.

LOL I have to admit the thought of leaving her there made me sad...what the heck is wrong with me?..oh yeah I'm a mommy!!! But anyway..I also wasn't going to leave her because there was like 12 kids and 1 adult in there...um so not cool and after being there for only 3 minutes a little boy hit Sydney in the face. UM why aren't you people watching her...good thing we were there to stop him from hurting her.




We went to Applebees after the christening....and once we got there Alyssa was sleep. Also her little cousin Sofia was sleeping good too!! lol too cute..they kind of look alike huh? Sofia is 3 months.

A trip to Wendy's!!!

Dwight, Alyssa and I love going out. We were hungry on our way to Pontiac, so we decided to stop and eat at a Wendy's. Alyssa love's baked potatoes so I got her one so she wouldn't eat all of mines. here are a couple of cute pictures of her. Dwight took a video of her being loud...I am going to try to put that up here too....cause shes so funny!!! Gotta love this girl!

I like this car seat...its blue! It doesn't match the stroller that much but who cares?!!!!!!

I love this diapers the best out of all of them...they are way better than pampers! I need lots of diapers soon...I want Alyssa to be potty trained but she probably won't be! And my little man will be here in October!!!!!! Woohoo! So diapers Diapers DIAPERS!

My baby has a tutu!

So last night Melvia (my very creative cousin) came over and made my baby a tutu it is really cute! I love it! I am going to have Alyssa wear it to my baby shower! Its blue....cause its a BOY! :) Check it out and tell me what you think!

Okay...So I love to blog, but the problem is I either forget, or forget, or I just plan forget. LOL But anyway since I don't see my friend Kelly who is so Far away I wanted to create a Blog specifically for her so she can see my world!
I named this Blog my life as a Mommy because I will post things specifically about how my life is as a mom. It is such a Blessing to be able to have children and I am glad God allowed me to do so. So I have to do a little recap on my life....
I found out I was pregnant with Alyssa last March 2010. Her due date was Nov. 20, 2010. I was totally excited. That was when my husband and I knew we had to get married and so we did May 15, 2010. But life was great! Here are some pregnant pics of me with my baby girl Alyssa!

Here I am being really silly...But overall I think I look cute here! lol :P

Here is a ultrasound picture of her. I was about 19 weeks here...this is when I found out I was having a baby girl!

Here is just a stomach shot. I don't remember how far along I was But I was pretty big. Overall during my pregnancy I gained only 14 lbs. That isn't a lot at all...woohoo!
I ended up having Alyssa Mariah Ledwell November 14, 2010 at 10:55am (after pushing for 1 hr and a half) Hard WORK!!! I had her at Beaumont Royal Oak hospital by Dr. Moore (I loved her)

After my 6 week check up...I was 2 lbs away from my weight before pregnancy...little did I know that wasn't going to be for long. At the end of February 2011...I found out I am Pregnant AGAIN!!! GOSH...lol (maybe my husband didn't want me to lose weight)

I also found out that I was having a little boy....here is a pic of me pregnant about 20 weeks with my little man
